On August 17, 2022, the Shanghai International Forum on Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Industry (Bio-forum 2022), a prestigious international biomedicine event, was grandly opened in Shanghai. BIO-FORUM is an annual conference supported by Science & Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Shanghai Medical Products Administration, etc. The forum has been held for 24 years and evolved into a highly influential international conference in the area of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

BIO-FORUM 2022 was hosted by Shanghai Biomedical Science and Technology Development Center and its theme is "Breakthrough, Integration, and Scientific and Technological Innovation Driving the High-Quality Development of the Biomedical Industry". The event attracted a large number of well-known experts and senior managers from pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, representatives of government regulation and venture capitals from all over the world，who discussed the hot issues, outlooked the major cutting-edge technologies, and shared their successful experiences together for promoting the prosperous development of the industry.

Dr. Mingde Xia, Chairman/CEO of Innolake Biopharm was invited to attend the opening ceremony and co-chair the conference.
